1. INTRODUCTION

This page explains all the fees and charges you'll pay when using Plum's investment services. Understanding these costs helps you make informed decisions and compare our services with other providers.

We're required by the Financial Conduct Authority (specifically COBS rules 2.2A and 6.1ZA) to clearly explain all costs and charges before we provide investment services to you. This ensures you understand exactly what you're paying for and how these costs might affect your investment returns.

Fee Components

Illustrations and Estimated Costs

Wherever possible, we provide illustrations of these costs in both pound (£) amounts and percentages (%) to help you visualise their impact.

Because third-party fees vary based on the specific underlying funds and providers, these figures are often estimates. For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding a specific fund's costs, we strongly encourage you to review its Key Investor Information Document (KIID).

By showing both our distribution fees and the available third-party charges, we aim to provide a comprehensive view of your anticipated investment costs, even as specific fund expenses may fluctuate.

How we disclose costs to you

Financial services regulations require us to provide you with cost information at two different points in your investment journey. This is designed to help you make informed decisions and understand the actual impact of fees on your investments.

These upfront estimates give you the information you need to choose the right products and understand potential costs before you invest.

This annual statement shows your real costs (not estimates), helping you understand the true impact of fees on your investments and make decisions about whether to continue, switch products, or change your investment approach. Your personalised ex-post statement will be provided to you after the end of each calendar year, covering all investment activity from 1 January to 31 December.

2. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TIER

Your Plum subscription tier determines the features and benefits you access within your Plum account, which is provided by Plum Fintech Limited. Plum offers four subscription tiers; Basic, Plus, Boost, and Max, each is designed to suit different customer needs and investment activity levels.

How Subscription Tiers Impact Your Investment Costs

Different subscription tiers come with different pricing for investment services. Where subscription tier pricing affects your investment costs, this is fully disclosed in the relevant product section below (Section 3 - Fees by Product).

The total annual subscription fee you'll pay is included in the cost tables below, but please note that each subscription tier is priced based on various services and perks available within that tier. For more information about all the benefits included in your subscription, please visit the Plum Plans page.

3. FEES BY PRODUCT

Below, we explain the costs and charges associated with each investment product we offer. Each product section is structured the same way to make it easy for you to:
