Our Fees
This page outlines the fees applicable to the services offered by Plum in line with the relevant terms and conditions agreed upon prior to the provision of services by Plum. However, it's important to note that some of these services/products may not be available in your country.
Fees we charge to facilitate the settlement of a transaction, the payment of dividends, or other relevant cash distributions. This includes the conversion rate provided by our third-party provider, as well as a markup. Below are the fee details based on your subscription plan:
Regulatory fees imposed by the SEC or FINRA will be charged even if we do not apply a commission. Where applicable, SEC and TAF fees are deducted in USD directly from your proceeds when you sell shares.
Every time you sell your stocks, the SEC and FINRA charge fees on the sale. The SEC charges $8.00 for every $1,000,000 (or $0.000008 per dollar), and FINRA charges $145 for every 1,000,000 shares (or $0.000145 per share) sold up to a maximum of $7.27 per trade. The FINRA fee is also known as the TAF, or Trading Activity Fee.
The relevant regulatory fees imposed by the SEC or FINRA will be charged to you even when we do not charge commission.
You will only be charged for orders which are executed. Any fees charged in connection with your trades will be debited from your Plum Account.
The relevant fees for orders that have executed are available on the ‘trade confirm’ that is provided to you.
For additional details on Fees, please see Section 8 “Fees and Taxes” in Plum’s Stock Investments Terms and Conditions.
We do not charge any service fees to Premium subscribers, who therefore only pay the BlackRock fund management fees (see below). All other Plum customers (non-Premium subscribers) will incur annual service fees calculated on the daily balance held in the fund at the following rates:
Where applicable, these fees will be deducted from your Primary Pocket on the first day of each calendar month.
All customers, regardless of their subscription tier, will be charged a fund management fee of 0.10% by BlackRock.
The fund value is automatically updated to reflect BlackRock’s fee, so you won’t see it as a separate charge.
Plum offers a range of commission-free orders, depending on your subscription plan. Details are as follows:
